When a company considers to build a web site there are 2 options: build a customized web from scratch or use a CMS (content management system). In many cases the CMS solution is the most appropriate. Its advantages are:

• low cost, it is a free software solution.
• ease costumization by the user who has no knowledge of html code.
• flexibility, based on thousands of options available (themes and plugins).

The only drawback in certain cases will appear when we find the need to do things not permitted by CMS or its plugins, in these cases we will have to opt for a customized web.

GRN’s equation
GRN uses WordPress in combination with some theme that suits your needs. WordPress CMS is very easy to use, which does not mean it isn’t powerfull, in fact WordPress has become one of the most used CMS with a large community of users and active contributors. Although initially it was thought to produce blogs, currently has enough power to attack most web design approaches.

WordPress can give an external image to your website using any of the thousands of themes that are available to users. GRN have experience with many of them and we can help you choose it and make it fit your needs.

Therefore, the equation that we propose is GRN:

GRN + WordPress + chosen theme + training = dynamic web managed by the costumer

To success in this project, it should:

• Analyzing the functionality the web should have.
• Seeing if WordPress can successfully perform all functions.
• Analyzing the visual appearance of the site and see if you need the participation of a graphic designer.
• Installing WordPress into the costumer hosting (GRN’s task).
• Configuring all the environment WordPress (GRN’s task).
• Structuring web content (GRN’s task).
• Costumer training and the costumer itself creates de content of the web.
• Web updates management (GRN’s or costumer’s task).
