Mail-relay

The mail relay and mail backup services are aimed mainly at small and medium enterprises that have a mail server on their offices and they want to ensure the reception of mail in the event of fall of their Internet link. Both services are valid for more than one domain and may be associated with different spam and antivirus filters and security policies.

The mail relay service is based on publishing GRN MX servers for your domain so that any impact on your server connectivity will ensure you continue receiving mail. The service will also be offered if you have a dynamic IP. GRN mail servers are permanently and redundantly connected to the Internet to avoid unwanted losses of email. Once your service is restored, our servers will forward to your server the mail temporarily stored on our servers.

The mail relay service also have the option of hiring an output relay mail service so that our range will have a unique IP to exit the Internet to do your postings and configurable inverse name resolution. GRN controls the major Internet Blacklist to analyze if your IP output has been included in any of these lists and why.

On the other hand, the mail backup service consist of configuring our mail servers as additional MX servers with a lower priority. In case of loss of your servers, the operation is the same as the mail relay, mails will be stored on our servers until your service is re-established.
